As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy, the Banque Nationale de Dรฉveloppement Agricole (BNDA) granted nearly 15 million CFA francs in funding to the Sibiribougou Community Health Center (CSCOM) on Tuesday, March 25, 2025. This support will enable the installation of a solar energy system with a storage capacity of 45 kWh, ensuring a continuous power supply to the center.
This initiative aims to ensure the continuity of medical services and improve patient care in a context where the CSCOM faced significant challenges due to the lack of electricity. Until now, the center operated using two generators, with a monthly fuel cost of 600,000 CFA francs, amounting to nearly 7 million CFA francs per year.
The CSCOM of Sibiribougou plays a crucial role in providing healthcare access to the local population. In 2024, more than 32,000 consultations were recorded, according to the technical director, Dr. Oumar Konatรฉ. This figure highlights the centerโs importance to the community.
Through this contribution, BNDA reaffirms its commitment to sustainable development and improving the living conditions of the population.
