You can set up a term deposit, i.e. block a sum of money in a bank account in return for interest. The amount of this remuneration or interest rate is freely determined by agreement between the bank and its customer. It may be fixed or progressive if the money is immobilized over a long period. Interest payments are subject to Income Tax on Deposit Accounts (IRCD), which is currently 9%.
You have the option of automatically rolling over the investment (capital + interest).
